Another repeated trends I noticed on the tour was how almost every home had layers and layers of stunning mixed textures on walls and ceilings.
Utah offers several events of this kind throughout a year. St George area hosts the most visited Parade of Homes every February showcasing the most outstanding house samples in Southern Utah. Another well-known spot is Utah Valley which invites all for its Parade of Homes in the month of June.

Feb. 2023 Parade Homes
This beautiful, energy-efficient twin home is located in a quiet neighborhood near great schools and parks. The open floor plan is designed to satisfy any family and includes main level living with vaulted ceilings, three bedrooms and two baths. The Parade of Homes was created by the National Association of Home Builders as part of the National Home Week campaign in 1948. The parade was a marketing event promoting home ownership and the latest in housing design, construction methods, and products in fully furnished model homes. Again, we see more layered texture with painted brick walls on the kitchen, which was thin traditional brick with a messy mortar wash and then painted.
When added to a guest bedroom or at-home school room, large-scale wallpaper can easily be mistaken for a hand-painted mural. Located in Ivins' newest fine home development, the Ledgestone will surely draw you in. With fresh contemporary design elements, this home is not to be missed. As you enjoy the dramatic views of the red cliffs, the serene setting of this home is bound to make a lasting impression.

The exterior was so pretty and I really LOVED the stunning modern oak garage doors. Interesting that I noticed a lot of black cabinetry, doors and trim in several of the homes including all the interior doors in the Regent home.
Once again, beautiful design work with so many fresh ideas and layers. While the floor looks like carpet, it’s a gorgeous fabric looking tile. Lance has lived in the St. George area for 12 years.
The home was built by Regent Custom Homes and is a mind blowing 18,256 square feet with 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. This home was loaded with so many cool new ideas that I spent over 2 hours in the home talking with the builder’s team. This whole home was really special and I don’t have room here to share it all but I wanted you guys to see the primary bathroom.
